If the idea of having hundreds of little scary dressed up people knocking on your door unsolicited puts fear in your veins then you may need to leave town.
That’s right folks, I’ve just described Halloween or life as a Mosman home owner as agents pound the local pavements offering up the ghastly ‘free market appraisal’.
Halloween is always a super fun day on the Mosman calendar where despite all of us spending 364 days a year telling our kids not to get candy from strangers, today is the day that they must!
Back to my day job, so what’s happening in the market? Well I’m pleased to report that our team has turned it on this week with 10 sales and more coming down the line (I mean…someone has to pay for the decorations and this candy).
Now that we are making the final approach to Christmas (55 days) it feels like home buyers are clocking on to the fact that what’s on the market now is likely going to be it for the year. It’s a case of buy now or wait until February.
With the latest spooky inflation data it also seems likely that the RBA board will be paying more attention to the race that stops the nation than what to do with the cash rate.
Happy Halloween everyone and see below for some of the best homes available across the Lower North Shore.
Until next week,
David Murphy
