In a meeting last week I was asked to describe the current market…I ran with ‘a neap tide.’

Yikes…well if we thought the situation in Washington couldn’t get weirder…we got that wrong.
It’s been a busy week in here, not only have I been hiding in the shadows to avoid some jilted buyer’s agents but the team has also had a slew of sales….about time too.
“Love this weather” said no property manager today ever…
Now that the seemingly endless timing hurdles of 2025 have been surpassed we should be in clear air.
A special edition this week, coming to you bright and early from QF1. The first newsletter penned mid air with touch down in chilly London imminent (and yes…jet lag included). My brief visit to the motherland is to celebrate a close friend’s 50th birthday. I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to share the probable disappointment…
Granted I’ve become partly known for witty even at times absurd missives, but I confess that this week’s note is a little more on the serious side (sorry to disappoint).
Firstly, thank you to those of you who have noticed that I’ve had a hiatus of sorts and haven’t penned a missive for a few weeks.
I’ll kick off this week by issuing myself an infringement notice. The RBA board didn’t meet as I had incorrectly predicted last week…they will next.
The silliest part of the silly season is nearly over and the 2025 market has officially re-opened, as expected new listings are popping up as well as some relaunches from late last year.
